The McCandless Project

            For the past few days of school I have been going through the day without responding to text message from any of my peers.  During the week people reacted to my sudden change by assuming that my phone was dead or I was ignoring them.  During the experiment I felt that people were becoming irritated with me for not responding to them.  During the experiment I was surprised at my reaction and how I felt during it.  Going in I did not think I would care about not responding but as the day went on I feared that people were becoming agitated with me.  Based on these results I believe that I am Free to not conform but I would just have to take the initial step and obtain motivation to do so.  I believed that this was a very interesting test to see how I would deal not conforming to my usual way.  However I still believe that I could change if I wanted to
